I just wanted to take this opportunity to mention what an over and beyond experience I had at the Algonquin Sherman Immediate Care clinic. This was my first visit to any type of Urgent care (including emergency rooms) and I was overwhelmed by the welcoming atmosphere and the cheery personalities of the entire staff. It was 3am so I wasn’t coherent enough to remember all the staff’s names, but I would ask that you pull my chart and pat your staff on the back. Everyone, from the nice woman who took my intake information, the nurse, the assistant to the nurse and the doctor–I just can’t praise them enough.
I am an Optometrist and have my own staff, so I can fully appreciate a well trained, happy staff and a wonderfully run facility. It seemed that everyone was happy to be there and clicked well together (not an easy situation to come by). I have already mentioned to a variety of people how wonderful my experience was, and I will continue to do so. Most of the time we only hear about the bad experiences from patients. That is why I wanted to take the time to mention my visit. I also wanted to complement you on the follow-up phone call I received today.
