My daughter delivered her first child prematurely by C-Section on Feb.14th due to HELLP Syndrome.

It was a very scary situation for all of us since it happened so quickly.  I cannot tell you how thankful we all were that we were at your facility and she was being taken care of by excellent physicians and nurses.  They recognized her condition very promptly despite the fact she did not have all the typical signs and symptoms of the syndrome.

After the delivery, she was transferred to the ICU for 3 days and then back to Labor & Delivery until she was finally discharged on Feb 22.  Her son was discharged on the 21st.  Everyone who took care of her was  good at communicating what we all needed to know regarding both of their care and treatment.

Excellent communication skills are also a sign of excellence in patient (and family) care.  I believe that your institution attracts excellent staff who work well together. The communication continues between her physicians even after discharge.

For an experience which was very scary for all of us I cannot say enough good things about all the people we came in contact with at your hospital. It says a lot about your institution that it attracts and retains such an excellent group of people who are truly patient-family centered.
