I visited your emergency room on 4/26/11 with what I thought was a gallbladder attack. I had been putting off the visit because I was so scared I was going to need my gallbladder removed. This day was crazy busy, and the ER was packed. Despite being so busy the ER staff my husband and I encountered were so nice and helpful, you would have never known how overwhelmed they were. The nurses that helped me were amazing.

There were 3 nurses who were taking care of me. The first one was Eileen, who knew how to put me at ease, she made me laugh and feel so comfortable. Eileen had shared she had gallbladder issues and explained to me at discharge her symptoms and what I should look for. I loved that she could relate to me.

Another nurse taking care of me (I believe her name was Linda) was so kind to me – she made me feel at ease, she had a comforting voice and a kind face.

Finally there was Patti, who I had the most interaction with. She would walk by and give an encouraging rub on my foot with a comforting smile. She made me feel the most at ease, you could just see she cared for you and she wanted you to be better. My husband brought up my 1 year old daughter and some people listen about your children to be polite but Patti sincerely listened and asked questions. She is so sweet.

The three ladies that took care of me are amazing and Sherman should be proud to have them part of their staff. Thank you for taking care of me the way a mother would her child.
