I wanted to take the time to let you know how proud I am to work here at Sherman Hospital.
There is a doctor in your hospital that has performed a miracle on me. I could not turn my neck; I was losing the use of my arms with tingling and everything. I was told about the pain clinic. Dr. Flynn my internist referred me to Dr. Barclay. To me she is an angel.
I was a patient in the ER on Friday 12/9/11. I was seen by Dr. Rosenberg and cared for by a nurse named Elizabeth. They were great. Dr Rosenberg took time and made sure I was cared for. Elizabeth did a great job checking on me and keeping things moving and keeping me well informed. I was in pain and they made the whole experience pleasant and made it go quickly. They are a real asset to your hospital.
Thank you,
Pete
I have a chronic illness & therefore am a frequent patient of Sherman Hospital. I give a sigh of relief coming into the ED doors, from the kind & considerate meeter/greeter, the nurse practitioner, admitting, the ED MDs (I know them all on all the shifts) who are polite, caring, and see to my comfort. They know just what I need.
The ED nurses are the best!! And keep getting better!!
My most recent visit was as an inpatient for ten days. EVERYONE I came in contact with was pleasant, caring, kind, polite, used AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank you) when I didn’t know them, & cared about my comfort & privacy. EVERYONE included (but not limited to) transporters, x-ray techs, radiologists, pain clinic (for a PICC line), housekeeping, volunteers, nutrition callers/delivery, RNs in holding.
My doctors: V. Patel, Grassi, J. Stinneford & his GI group, Dang (anesthesia), Raul Aron, all sat at my bedside with each visit to go over my care (step by step) and made sure I was comfortable, & always asked what else they could do for me!
Then, of course, there is the staff of my second home, 5A-surgical. We know each other so well. They are all exceptional RNs & PCTs. The care I was given was 5+! The atmosphere of the new hospital is calming, soothing, & big & bright & beautiful.
The caring didn’t stop w/being an inpatient. The caring continues when people notice me in the halls, because I am also an employee of Sherman Hospital, and a very strong supporter of Sherman Health Systems.
Thank you for the excellence in care. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
