On December 19, 2011, my first day of retirement after 44 years of working, I had an accident that tore off my patellar tendon (located near the quadriceps muscle). The place of the accident was very close to another hospital, but for a personal reason I chose to come to Sherman.

Based on my experience at Sherman, I am glad that I chose to come there. I found everyone at your hospital committed to provide the best medical service to the patient.

In my ordeal, which required a major surgery next day, I dealt with various departments of the hospital (admitting, x-ray, testing, surgical, etc). I found staff in all departments very skilled, well trained and very attentive to my needs. The way Dr. Kazaglis explained my injury and talked to me gave me expectations of a full recovery from the very start. The nurse, Andy (I don’t know his last name), who attended me after surgery, was very comforting.

Due to a successful surgery and good nursing care that I received, I encountered only nominal pain and I am expecting a full recovery in due time.

I sincerely believe Sherman Hospital is an excellent hospital. Please convey my appreciation of the services they provided me.
